I am gonna be stationed in New Mexico, Holloman AFB and was wondering if there were any Ty/Sy owners near by that could help me get my truck tuned right. I should get there about the mid of November and my truck should get there before the year ends. It would be nice if any one knows of any good shops or if anyone wouldn't mind giving a hand getting it running good.

It will sure be nice to be in the states to get parts easily now..

Here is a pic of my ty

depending when it is, I might make the trip out there too. It's about an 8 hour drive if I remember right.

Thanks alot folks,
I feel alot better knowing there are a few people nearby that may give me some tips on getting my ty running better. I definitely would like to meet up with you folks whenever you get a chance.

Kimura-san,
congratulations on the baby... It is so nice to hear that. I bet you are real happy. I have been busy getting my things together and getting my truck and bike ready to ship out of here. I am not sure of the date for shipping of my vehicles, but if it is not shipped yet, I would love to make the drive to Nagano for one last meeting with you folks.

This weekend is the big Ducati rally in Hakone. Alot of shops want me to bring my bike out there to show everyone. They are expecting over 300 Ducati's there. :D :D I have been adding a few new parts on it and that bike has been keeping me busy too.. lol Well here is a pic of it with my second place trophy I got in Nagoya. I was amazed I won competing against all the big bike shops..

Thanks again everyone. Now I got to get back to the bike. LOL

I am finally here

I am finally here

Well I finally made it to Almagordo. :D :D

My Ty has to be at the Dallas Vehicle Processing Center by 25 Jan... Now I need to figure out, how to get it here to Almagordo..

Does anyone know of any reasonable carriers that can ship my Ty to me?

I also need to figure out on how to register my car here.. If anyone has any suggestions, I would really appreciate it. I have never lived in the states, so I have to figure this out quickly. I did have my Japanese title translated and notarized by the legal office before I left Japan.

I guess I got here at a bad time, everything is closed or closes early and I really need to find a second car. :( :(

Anyone know of any shops or places to get a decent second car?

Taylor,
Do you know of any reliable shops here that could get my Ty checked out,? I know that it probably needs a good tune-up..

Well I am just trying to adjust my sleep schedule now..

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas

take it easy
Don

good to see you made it  alamo has a used car place down by the school for the blind (on the right side if your coming up from where the mall is) its about 150 feet before it you might wanna check with them about another car for a while ill have to drive up there and check out some of your toys  its only an hour from here

ill ask about a carrier service

as far as a tune up i do all of it my self usually but theres a few shops there in alamo cant speak for any of them though theres a couple of nice cars there might wanna track one of them down and ask where they suggest getting it done

to register it just look up the DMV (department of motor vehicles) and when you get it stop by there and theyll get you all set up

welcome to the states

I only live about 10 min from the base. There are not very many performance shops here. One that has done some work on my brothers sy is solid technologys. They did a custom downpipe for him. They are a small shop. The only syclone the have worked on is my brothers. They have alot of experance with turbos and forced induction engines. My brother and I do all of our own work on our trucks and his girlfriend's Ty.
Except custom fabing and tuning stand alone engine management. My brother just got my F.A.S.T. because I blew a head gasket and my truck won't be running for a little while. Solid is going to do his tuning.

This a correction. I mis read where you were moving to. I jumped to the conclusion that you were moving to albuquerque. I live in albuquerque 10 min away from kirkland AFB. Sorry for any confusion. Welcome to New Mexico. Looking foward to meeting everybody at a New Mexico meet.
