I had posted here asking about proper "syty" etiquitte about 2 weeks ago. Well, after speaking with the owner of the truck, he says he has no problem researching his vehicle

Anyway, the VIN is 1GDCT18Z6P0810087

He is the second owner of the truck. It is a red/gray Ty. He said the truck has been repainted by the previous owner (said the first owner wanted to restore it to a "show" quality. 55K miles. Only mods are the cat-back exhaust and I believe the battery was relocated to make room for future mods that never happened. The trans has been rebuilt--he has receipts, but I believe it was just rebuilt to stock specs. Owner says he has had no problems and would feel comfortable driving it cross country if needed. The owner seems like a pretty stand-up, honest guy (i hope). Anyway, truck is located in Milwaukee WI.

If anyone has any input on this truck, good or bad, could you please throw your :2cents: in? It looks like I will be trading my 96 HD softail and a few $$$ for this one.

your pics wont work because you are trying to link them from an email attachment, at least thats how they appear on this end.

you need to host them somewhere, like photobucket or something similar.

OK...hopefully PHOTOPOSTING 101 is over! Thank you to all that held my hand through that!!

Anyway, if anyone knows of this truck or has any input, PLEASE feel free to comment. It looks like I should be going to make the transaction within the next few weekends (i hope)

What are the rod things behind the front wheels on the cladding? More PAS emblems?

Those decals are PAS on both the side effects and tailgate (obviously). Hopefully they come off with ease and don't leave a footprint!

I believe the previous owner of this truck was a JIMATTSON of the syty.net world. I have already searched his posts. Only major red flag for me was a turbo problem with a stuck wastgate? This was supposedly fixed by Rockford Racecraft. Anyone know of him or of his experiences with this truck? I am set to pick it up on the 31st of this month.

if a stuck waste gate is the biggest issue than I wouldn't sweat it, thats a pretty common issue for these trucks. that user name does not sound familiar though
