It's sits about 1 in higher than one with a 2 in drop.
Imagine that!

Personally I like the 2" drop. It didn't affect ride quality at all and it has a real nice stance to it, not that 4x4 look.

I don't know if I'm totally sold on the totally straight look meaning completely level front to back.

BTW, I bought the BellTech 2" lowering blocks. 1) is this a good set (part #6100) and 2) can I machine then .5 - 1"?

I may just install the 2" but wanted to get some feedback.

Thanks

Did you install them yourself? How was it? I saw the directions of the archieves page and it didn't seem too difficult nor time consuming.

Yeah, I was being sarcastic. Glad you got that.

I did the 1" drop (plus removing overload springs) because I wanted a slight rake to the stance. With the PEP front coilover kit, I have proper control over just how low the front is and the rear can always be changed. Of course, I will eventually get 2" drop leafs, but for now, blocks will hafta do.

Mine's lowered 1" in the azz. Front is stock height until I care enough to do something about that too.

Yeah I put 1 inch blocks on mine . Not sure if I like them or not thinking about 3 inch in the back and lowering the front 1 inch. Or I might just sell the truck. The thing just sits in my garage.

I would not put 3'' blocks on.When I did that the transmission mount broke when i drove over some railroad tracks. That is 2 low in my opinion and that happened with just me in it. ::hang::

i have had both.

i had 2" blocks for almost a year.

then i had 1" blocks.

i can tell you i like the 1" blocks gooder. it keeps more of the soft stock ride, and you dont have to worrie about riding with your big ass black girlfriend when its time to go over the train tracks.

my motto:

lots of bottom, no bottoming
