Is anyone running 90's corvette salad shooters in 17x9.5, 56mm offset with 275/40/17 am I going to need spacers in the rear? and how thick? fronts should be ok without spacers from what I understand?

you need to compare the two sets of wheels. lay them face down. lay something flat across the back of the wheel and measure from the mating surface to the flat piece(i use a metal capenters level). if the vette wheel measurment is the same or shorter u wont need spacers. if the distance is longer, the differnce tells u the approximate size spacer u will need. u might, and i stress might, be able to get away with no spacers but if u go to much further into that wheel well eventually your gonna start rubbing something. especially up front. but spacers r cheap enough. just gotta figure out ur size
note this isnt the "right" way to do it as far as a aftermarket rim shop is concerned but it works well. ive used this method for years. street and offroad
