Anyone using a steering stabilizer?

I notice a bit of a shimmy when I get between 75-80 mph and am thinking about getting a steering stabiler. Do any of you use one? What do you think?

Steering stabalizers are more of a bandaid fix than a solution. If you have a vibration at a certain speed, Its most likely something in the drivline. Have you have the front or rear driveshaft out lately?? Checked the tire balance, bent rim, bad tire, out of balance driveshaft. Could be any of those, Id suspect the tire balance first. I had the tires balanced the other day. Wow!, mcuh better. They were way off. One of theme has a bit of a bend in the rim :x the guy was able to balance it, but said it will never be perfect. Guess I'll start looking for a set of aftermarket wheels. In the mean time, the truck is driving very nicely now! :p

Steering Stabilizer

Will - I put one in and I think they do a good job of absorbing vibration in the steering linkage. So, I'm happy w mine.
