I am on FB and part of the SyTy group, but I lurk and hardly ever post. I can't deal with the idiots there that are constantly posting stupid ass memes, replying to every issue with "LS SWAP IT!" and always going on with the "meh, it's a 92" bullshit. IMO, I couldn't care less if 3/4 of the FB group members never found their way here.

It's not surprising the people posting here are generally FB detractors...but the poll shows about a 50/50 split between regular users and non/part users.
Other than the ease and number of photos, I don't think I'm missing much on FB and SyTy.net (the forum) has only been slightly impacted by the presence of FB. It will never be what it was in its heyday, but still provides a value to those serious about their trucks.

Hahaha I feel the same way about Facebook in general, it's gotta be even more annoying than "reaction" or "unboxing" videos on youtube, when all you're trying to find is REAL information. :roll:
The 92 hate is lame... I specifically sought out a 92
The silver decals look better than gold
The grille and black grille letters look better than the 93
The leather inserts on the door panels looks better than the 93
The seats are embroidered and are better bolstered than the Jimmy seats in the 93
The overhead console in the 93 is useless
I'll go a step further for the Saudi owners... no reflective glass! :tup:

FB, in general, sucks IMO. It's fine for specific stuff like SyTy or other hobby groups but I don't give a flying **** about seeing everybody's opinion on everything-- especially politics all day, every day, barf. I wish that it wasn't linked to everything on the internet, it's like modern day /b/ except it's become the norm and is unavoidable :doh:

I'm on FB and comment on some stuff but always post a link to .net for people to answers to tech questions. Cant stand how some guys think they are syty gurus but consistently give wrong answers. Cant count the number of times I've pm'd with the right answers. dig some of the pics guys post.
