man i think your the first person i ever heard say they hate meth, i run around 30psi all day long and its so easy to tune with my xfi its not even funny.......

What does it take to run 30 PSI? Let's hear all the details/specifics. I have ran up to 27 PSI with 93 octane on a stock longblock 4.3 but the turbo stopped making power at 24 PSI (PT51). even at that level it had a small amount of knock so I felt it was the limit. Normally I can get 22-24 PSI at the most with 93 octane. Now with heads/cam I'm sure I could go higher but need a bigger turbo to find out..

at the moment im right around 31psi and 22 degrees of timing at a nice 10.9-11.0 AFR

my opinion is if your gonna run on the street run 93 low boost be happy,if you want track times and numbers put the vp c116 in end of story.call it a day,you will never find meth on my truck just another thing to mess with and clutter up the engine bay,vpc116 please any day.

have some 10.80s an a few 10.90s slips only ran the truck twice at the track no cage etc,need to do a bit more tweaking,i think she has a bit more in her.This was on race fuel,i ,im just comfortable with the low boost on the street and the race fuel for high,but that is just me i guess.But i do know the alky works,lot of guys using it.Maybe some day i will try it.But also for the amount i drive the truck who knows.

i have been running meth since about 5 plus years ago before it became real popular..never once had a problem with it and i use the alky control kit....9's with meth is not hard and tuning is about as easy as it gets even more so with a stand alone...
