I was using this as an avatar for a while on another site.

If anyone wants to resize it and use it they can. I thought it was a cool loooking pic so it was the background on my phone and my computer for a while.

oh youre the one that sent me the animated gif..... well its physical size is fine, its just 100,000 bytes too large. I seriously doubt it could be made small enough and still actually look like something

I can shrink the turbo pic, I was trying to shrink the animated pic. I got it from a Conquest/Starion site I'm a member of.

oh ok, well its impossible, lets put it that way. The smallest I can get it without looking like complete crap is 46K, which is still 26K too large.

shrinking it isnt the problem. shirnking it and still having it look like something is. To get it under 19.4KB, it needs to dropped to a 5 color GIF, and at that point you might as well just use a gray box for an avatar :lol:

I sent it anyway. Lets see if he can do it. It was an avatar for a buddy on this other site I'm on so I know it can be done.

im pretty ignorant when it comes to this kinda stuff... but if we want to use an avatar from our own host site, why does it matter what size it is.

The only thing I hate is seeing 50 people with the same avatar. I identify most people by theirs, so it makes it a bit difficult at first. You thnk it's one person posting, and it's not.
