Well it finally broke 60 outside here in Indiana so I took her out for a spin into town. As I was driving down a country road thinking about how much I hated the way it bumpsteers, I suddenly had to stop for a cow in the road(yeah I said cow, lol). I came to a stop and honked for him to move, then I begain to take off again and the truck struggled. Guess what? Right front wheel didn't want to move very freely, so of course I've got a braking issue. I havent checked everything out, but I know its either line or caliper. Yeah it smoked a ton back to the house and I know that lovely smell of burning pads. Also on the way home the power windows and speedo stopped working along with the check engine light lighting up. I checked the codes and I got a 35 (Idle speed). I just changed out the IAC two weeks ago!!! Anyhow after I checked out the DTCs, the windows and speedo started working again. Kinda wierd.
Well I think Im just going to replace all the bushings and wornout suspension components, replace whatevers wrong with the brakes so I can get her back on the road.
After I get my bear brakes for my TA, I'm going to give the old Ty a F-body braking treatment. Hope everyones day has gone better than mine..
