DesertSy has Baer brakes that were installed by the previous owner after he returned from HAN 98 when he drove another Baer-equipped Syclone and wanted the same equipment for his.
The rear calipers look identical to the the rear calipers that were on a 1996 LT1 SLP Camaro I worked on last week, and other than the parking brake, the same as my 85 Corvette.. The front calipers (other than the embossed "baer"), and particularly the pads, look identical to the calipers and pads that are on 88-96 Corvettes that I scrutinize at NCRS events several times a year.
Rotor diameter and thickness have a lot to do with brake performance. I'm not sure about differences in the rotor dimensions vs Corvette and Camaro. But the calipers and pads are the same as other GM carlines.
The one thing you get for the price of a Baer kit, is everything you need is in the box. Unlike DIY conversions so popular here, there's no junkyarding, yearlong threads to get a set of non-existent, don't fit when you get them brackets and cables, or what brake hoses to use, etc. It's all in the box. There is value to that.
