Didn't make it down Saturday. It was still raining when I left at 2pm. Drove down to Tracy to help Russ (MyGMCSyclone) with a stuttering problem. Decided it was the MAP connector that he'd replaced and possibly his solder work had failed. Got to the fairgrounds around 10am Sunday and drove around feeling like a red-headed stepchild (literally!) and luckily happened on the GN/T-Type gang. They were very hospitable and made room for me to park w/them! Immediately ran into nello. (Thanks for the photo!) Met some of the turbo Buick folks, ran into a friend I hadn't seen since I moved from San Jose yrs. ago and had a generally great time!
Also ran into Joe Silva who had the black '93 Typhoon out in the car corral! Amazing that the stories behind acquiring our "bricks" are similar! His is VERY nice; as clean or cleaner than my rollerskate, similar miles, etc. Forgot to get any pics! (ARRGH!!) Anyone interested in picking it up, shoot me a PM and I'll get you in touch with him.
Hope to meet everyone sometime later this spring!

His 1993 was for sale right? I took a couple pictures on saturday of it, and cam post some if needed, that is one CLEAN black typhoon. I also met up with two guy who were looking at #1907 and they both had typhoons, they didn't know of syty though... :roll:

E-mail sent! honestly if I didn't already have a Silverado payment I would be trying to get that truck, it is sooo clean and is in great shape. I guess it's good I can't afford it cause I really want to get an all white 1992 phoon.... :roll: maybe in a couple years...

I guess we are waiting for a time and place to show up that will work for most. I think sundays for lunch would work best for everyone. ( some of us have to work on saturdays, not me I work on my sy saturdays. :roll: ) but the place is undetermined. (sp?) I vote for a good place to eat and catch a late lunch, shoot the Sh!T, take pictures, whatev, before we eat. maybe in a month so we will have nice picture taking weather? or in two weeks? I don't care. we mainly need a place....

yea i work retail..so i work on the weekends. But i am sure i can get out of a day. Lets do something 3 weeks from now to give everyone time. I am thinking a Hooters in the eastbay or something.

my vote is for Dave and Busters, or Lemans Kart Racing. They are sort of in the middle of everyone,but....I think Dave and Busters would be best for the price and there is good food and games, you can't beat it. I think May 4th would be best they are open from 11:30 am - 12:00 am on Sundays, or we can do Saturday the 3rd but let's just see how many people are able to do each day.

X2 for me, I'm THIS close to buying a RPM stage one and having him over night it to me so I can drive my truck....the turbo is all I'm waiting for....lol
