best cowl hood?

what is the best cowl hood hood to go with ? brand name, steel or fiberglass, have any pics?

I prefer the Goodmark Steel hood. It weighs more than fiberglass. I got mine of the 2" cowl variety: I paid ~$350 from a local dealer.

Go with aGoodmark steel hood and you won't be disappointed. I went the fiberglass route and like many others, wish that I would have went steel instead

My new VFN fiberglass hood before paint. See the holes in it? Fit and finish leave A LOT to be desired.

I had fiberglass warpage issues on one of my previous mustangs with cervini's cowl hood.. so with the syclone producing alot more heat under the hood with the turbo then the novi sc kit on the musting it wasn't a choice for me but to go with the steel goodmark 2.5 cowl hood.

I bought a Goodmark and I need to trim the rear cause it doesnt quite clear the cowl...

Cervini is my Choice been on the truck for 6 years no problems! Perfect fit under side finished show quality no supports nice and smooth!

i had a cervini kit on my mustang gt ... never knew they made hoods for the typhoon and syclone .... what was the cost to pick one of those up ?

my Fiberglass Harwood hood has been on my truck since I bought it. I love the size and shape of the cowl far more than that of any heavy steel hood ive seen.

I have a carbon fiber smaller size white typhoon cowl hood thats was professionaly painted. its light and fits and looks awesome!! show quality. Anyone interested, e-mail me. cost over $800.00 with paint. would sell locally $525.00!!!!!!!!

I'd like to say that I am the first and only to have this hood but I have had zero time to myself so it's still int he box unpainted waiting to be done. I think it's pretty cool, not sure what everyone else thinks. It's a steel replacement with bracing and functional. Supposet to be a direct bolt on fit.
