Re: best place to buy ball joints

they maybe half the price but you will do them twice as often. you get what you pay for and front end components are no place to skimp on ..... you asked for the best brand name to buy and moog is it , unfortunatly quality comes with a price.

.......why spend 80 if we can get them for 50.

So you aren't asking the same question in two years when your bargain priced balljoints need to be replaced AGAIN.

Make sure if you go to carquest and buy a "reboxed" moog part that there is actually a moog part in the box. Its about 50/50 around here at all the carquests that they are NOT a real moog part in the box

Re: best place to buy ball joints

I went to Car Quest today to ask about the part #s in that other thread.
I was told they have to be ordered from "Eco-Tech" and have a 1 year replacement warranty.
The guy at the counter said he does not think car quest uses the Moogs on their 1 year parts anymore.
If they have another number listed as a car quest Part# and a lifetime warranty it will be the moogs in a cq box.
The moogs were $77 each at cq btw.

Bummer. If I can't get cheap "Moogs" anymore, I'll probably try out Power Performance next.
