i alwayz use sunoco 93 seems to last the longest...but thats here in NY

best results for me on pump gas has been with exxon gas.. I can say though that i've found shell gas to be the absolute worse gas

Its the complete opposite here in VA :dunno: . Shell 93 little to no KR but exxon=tons of KR.

That's weird man.. I drove my sy from nj up thru ny, ma, vt, nh mi to nova scotia and every dam time i filled up with shell. I had tons of kr but skipped them a few times and ran exxon and bam no kr at all.

Sunoco 94 or 100 (cam2) or 104 (turbo pink) or 110 (turbo blue, and if I want to change fuel filters and use lots of injecter cleaners :roll: )

Out here on the left coast Shell, Chevron or Union but NOT Costco. Knock like a mother on Costco prem. Won't buy that stuff again.

Used to use Sunoco 94, but they stopped making the blend up here in NY. So now its BP Amoco Ultimate 93.
As per some guys that work in the industry BP/Amoco Ultimate is the cleanest (additive free) gas around (its actually clear) and there should be a thread from a while ago about this...

+1 for Chevron, although the Alky tends to compensate for bad gas

I use only Mobile 93. I had been using Shell 93 for the first year and got a few tanks were I could hear pinging. I switched to Mobile and never had the problem again.
