IM going to get a ty and first mod will be some true forged wheels

Ive been dealing with belltech for almost 20 years so going to do front/rear swaybars and their rear leafs but heres the thing I WANT BIG BOY TIRES LOL

Im thinking 18x11.5 with 335 30 18 rear
and front 18x9.5 with 285 35 18

Any feedback on this?

run setback plates with the belltech leafs, otherwise the wheels wont be centered in the wheelwells.

is there really a huge advantage of running a 315+ over say a 275-295??

Ive been thinking about this a lot recently, and although the big tires are cool, are they really worth it??

My opinion on this is that it is all look. Unless you are having to reduce boost at launch due to excessive tire spin, I would say that the super wide tires aren't necessary. Just added rolling resistance. But if you want the look, than you want the look.

a set of 275 drag radials will hook up better than a 325 street tire- plus less weight. a lot of people forget that massive tires add a lot of rotational mass- and just mass in general

Not worried about hooking. I set up a local street racing ty. qa1s double adjustable on the front and completly got rid of the topping out suspension issue where front tires would spin. I set the rebound at hardest so prevents the massive front end lift. He went from 11.90 to 11.62 by shock change. 1.75 60 foot to a 1.58. I have all these ideas but ill prob just do a big brake kit on it and lowering and front qa1s with rear belltech sp. Downpipe back intake and tune ill be happy

i contemplate this often. DRs need heat to get sticky, most trucks cant hold a burnout long enough to warm them up. So is it worth the $$$ to go DRs when you cant get them warm enough? Or go with a sticky set of Z tires.
