no the wheels are all take offs of the grand sport vette in 1996 only the lip was polished

Actually they aren't all take offs. Most of them are reproductions of the 1996 Corvette Grand Sports oem design

thats correct. you can find them polished, chrome, silver, or black with a machined lip. they come in 17's and 18's in various widths and offsets, and only in a 5x120.65 bolt pattern. to my knowledge, they don't make them all black, but for a price, it can be done.

I'm not a big fan of the polished lip either on the black ZR1's/Gran sport wheels.

You can always get a used cheap set powdercoated completely black though.

Look on ebay. One seller routinely lists 'black chrome' ZR1's. These do not have the polished lip. Never seen one in person, so can't comment on how well the black chrome goes with our paint.

Black wheels always look good, with or without the polished rim IMO. :tup: Servando has told me that the black chrome looks very good with our paint. Just FYI.

I imagine they would look good with our paint....The only set I've personally seen were installed on Trey's vette in Austin....He's a member here and paid top dollar for the black chrome (pearl) finish....It looked very, very nice....I can't say I've ever seen the ebay black chrome ones in person....I need to hit Trey up and see if he'll sell me those wheels as I could use another set of zr1's now..... :idea:

The AFS GS wheels are on my SY they look good with the thick polished rim it breaks up the black and sets the wheel off.
