Bolt on brakes sticky?

Would be possible to make a sticky about what kind of brakes fit with minimal adjustments? I'm assuming corvette and camaro brakes work well but which years are the best compatibility wise and where are some good places to find some? Ebay doesn't have any at the moment :(

It going to depend on what size wheels you want to run. Stock for stock, as far as i'm aware there is nothing that just simply bolts on thats bigger because of the S-series spindle design. You can get the kits from CBR which 1 will allow you to run up to a 12" rotor and clear stock wheel and uses a dual piston caliper off a F-body car ( 98-02 Camaro, firebird, trans am) Or you could opt for their other kit which requires the use of 17" wheels and then you can run a 13" rotor and it will take brakes off a C5 Corvette. CBR kit is a very nice kit. Well worth the price. The brakes had a squeak but went away after 100miles or so. Truck stops on a dime now. Took a god day to install. Kit is complete minus fluid. instructions are great.

Well something is a little mixed up, the one pictured is a C5 wheel. ZR1 were on the C4 like they were talking about but didn't picture. As long as you get the correct offset wheels and they're 17" or bigger you should be able to run the C5 brake package.

very nice setup, once you get the spindles all cut and grounded down, its a easy install.

80% of the work is cutting the spindles. I used a sawsall and a grinder and it worked good. The camaro kit just fits on the stock wheels. I mean were talking 3/16 of gap. The only bad thing is you cant see them with the stocks on.
