Borla or ATR?

Wondering what you all think is the better choice for an exaust? The Borla on E-Bay is currently @ $450, ATR.From McCoy is $469. Seems like most of the board members go with the ATR, but is that because they don't produce the Borla any longer? I had the Borla on my last TY and loved it, and will be in need of a new exaust for my 93' soon.

No sure on the quality of Borla.... I do know ATR makes a nice system for the Typhoon and the Syclone though. I have them on both of my trucks and like them.

We really don't have any other choice besides ATR or custom now since Borla stopped making them for SyTy's.

I personally hate Borla, I think they are just overpriced for what you get.

Also, I dont think you will win the Borla on eBay, but goodluck to ya ;)

I have an ATR, its a very nice piece.

Personally, those who wish to get a Borla exhaust, I dont see why you just dont buy thier muffler and get some custom pipes bent up.

On complex dual exhaust systems with several bends and junctions, borla usually has better quality than most exhaust manufacturers but since our syty combos involve little more than a piece of tube with a couple kinks and a single straight through muffler, it's not worth the extra price for the Borla. I've used borla on other cars but bang for the buck, you just can't beat ATR on ours. I believe both use T304 stainless so quality of materials is exactly the same.

Also, becuase our turbo provides about 1/3 of the job of the muffler you don't get that same unique sound that you find on naturally aspirated borla applications.
