Re: Bowling Green, KY - Beech Bend Dragstrip
Yes, had a nice time. The truck has never been to the track before with the LSx motor in it. I had planned on making about 5 runs and turn up the boost and timing all night as I started getting used to the new set-up. 1st run I left it along and ran the way it was without a change. 12 PSI and 13* total timing, street tires and pump gas. I already knew I had low oil pressure so I was really watching that. Sure enough, had between 20-30psi oil pressure and that was not good. The IAT's with the new water to air setup really sucks also. I made sure the pump was running but I believe the W2A is to small for my setup and I will be swapping it out for a A2A and ALKY injection

The IAT's were 86* at the line, 153* 1/8 mile and 175* 1/4 mile ( 11 seconds later). That pass I ran an 11.003 @ 126 with a 1.81 - 60'.
I iced it up again and let it set for about 1 hr and turned up the boost a couple #'s. I don't think it even went up any

that run I did a 2# launch and pulled a 1.62 - 60', 10.9x @ 125. I am sure it was due to the cooler weather seeing the sun was going down. The boost never came up any more that base 12#'s. I put it on the trailer and will be puling motor tomorrow and taking it back to machine shop for new bearings and checking all clearances for oil pressure issue. Better safe than sorry. I don't want to hurt the new motor and will get it back to the track here in the next couple weeks and get more video up. I will post up the videos of Jeff's and my truck in a little while.
All-n-all it was a very nice night. I am happy with a 10.9 on its very first time on the track with a new set-up.
