Depending on the color choice I would probablly get 1 for a SY & 1 for a Ty.

okay guys, the application for permission is in the mail, so only time will tell if this goes through or not. . . .
even if it doesn't, looks like there's enough interest to do this anyway on the down-lo. we'll see.
i wasn't given how long it would take to get a response from GM and Equity Management Inc. so now we play the waiting game. I'll keep you guys updated.

Still waiting on a response from GM on permission to use the logos. If it were a limited run of maybe 10 shirts, I'd do it anyway, but at this point, it looks like there's interest in at least 35 shirts, so I'm only doing this the legit way for now.
i'll let you all know when/if I ever get permission.

I got a response from the contact at Equity Management Inc, the firm that handles trademark permission rights for GM.
I was asked to submit the MHST Club logo for approval. I'm guessing there won't be anything wrong with it, as it is one of my own design and uses no copyrighted or trademarked content, ie. no syclone/typhoon/sogt logo or script.
It's just:
so at this point, things are looking up for getting permission. as always, I'll keep you all updated as things progress.

yah, thanks for the reminder. I've been meaning to dig this thread up all day, and kept forgetting.
I got permission from GM to use the Syclone and Typhoon logos!!! Right now, I'm searching for a good quality shirt, at a good price. I don't want this to get out of hand price wise, but I also don't want to have a shirt that falls apart after one washing.
I hope to have more info in a week or so. I'm going to be busy at work and I'll be out of town this weekend, but I'm still working on it.
