For those who have them, where did you buy? The belltech website does not have online ordering...

I have the ATR bar now...and want the down-facing bar (below the diff)...the upgraded size would be sweet too.

Merk, I sent you a private email. Hopefully we will have the new front bar 1-3/8 " and the rear bar (prototype being tested is 1-1/4") in production in the next couple of weeks. Sorry this is taking so long. Part of the problem is we are right in the middle of moving our R&D facilities into a new location so lifts and equipment are down and all the engineers are busy with the move. That leaves me wrenching in my own garage as time permits. I am working on a group purchase for the bars if the big boss will allow it. I will keep everyone posted. For those going on the Vegas cruise or attending the show you can check out the bars that will be on my Ty. :D

Problem now is they dont even have the typhoon bars in stock or in the production line. The sy bars are in stock. what exactly is the difference if anyone knows? are the bars the same, but the mounting kit is different? never paid to close attention before.

For those interested...

I just bought a ST sway bar from Summit - supposedly in stock and should be to me next Monday or Tuesday.

The ST bar is 1" - PN STQ-86635 - $114.69.

Summit also lists the Belltech bar - PN BEL-5520 - $135.

Same size bar - same bar for that matter. A few subtle changes according to my sources :)

I spoke with Eric @ Belltech and the new 1 1/4" rear bar should be ready in a month or so. Not much more info that I can offer at this time.

Mike, what I was told before is the end links are different? Dunno as I've never compared the two side by side.

FYI - I checked out my package today when I got home. It is indeed very large - much larger than expected.

Inspection date was May 2, 2003.

I heard 30 days for shipping on the new sway bar - look for a GP.

Im on that GP like a fat kid on a cupcake.. if it goes thru.

But for now I'm out like a fat kid in dodgeball. :p

Eric is a pretty cool guy. He was able to answer my questions in a timely manner.

I couldn't wait any longer for a GP - been driving 5 years and now the wife's car handles better than the Ty. Now I'm playing keep up - BS I tell ya.
