Have you thought about selling some EGR plates like that Mike? Mine is too thin and I developed an exhaust/vacuum leak at nats  . Need something that looks gooder than mine too :) .

OK, I'm hijacking my own thread (is that still considered hijacking?). For those who don't have amazing powers of observation, I am now selling "cut to fit" EGR block off plates for $40 shipped...

POR-15 makes a clear product that supposedly sticks to polished surfaces. Haven't tried it myself.

I did try a test patch of Eastwood's Diamond Clear on the back of my intake to see how it would hold up. It didn't turn out too bad but it did dull the finish slightly. My coworker used Diamond Clear on the rims that I did for his 'stang and it has held up pretty well:

This is what the finish looked like before he coated them. Just like on the back of my intake, it dulled the finish slightly. I have heard good things about Zoop Seal but it is expensive and must be stripped off and recoated eventually.

Thanks the the heads up on the POR stuff Dig

! I have had great results with all their products. Gonna have to look into what they have to offer...

Re: Buffing 101

I got a call last week from the gentleman who sells mold finishing supplies to my work, Dave Glenn, to let me know that they are now online. You can check out their new web page here.
