One tip I have is that when installing the brake line into the mounting bracket, the C-clip does not retain the hose end tightly. It rattles around.
I used one of the leftover thin shim's with the large hole. Using a grinding stone on the die grinder, I open the hole on the shim enough to slip over the fitting. Then push the fitting into the bracket & install the C-clip. It's nice & tight now.
I was never even considering the Z06 setup, I was thinking LS1 or C5 before I decided that these look better and should stop a little better than both of those for close to the same money.JuStBlAzIN said:Why not do the 6piston caliper?

I have the BS part # at home and for the hard to flex line a small shim or a drop of crazy glue If you dont like shifs4C FED said:Ken, it's not on the A-arm, it's where the braided line meets the factory hard line on the frame.
Although I'm looking for a clamp to mount the line to the A-arm, so I'll check that out.
All the brakes part brand new from GM were $557.50 shipped, the C5 kit from CBR was $229 shipped.MAITAI1993 said:how $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Yeah we got them installed on Saturday, everything went really well and fit perfectly. They feel great but we still need to bleed them again before we really test them.HotRodV6 said:So, did you get them installed,i want to see pics, if this works, ill go this route instead of the LS1 front setup, bigger is always better when it comes to brakes, and im planning 18" later on anyways.
Waiting for an update.
Also can you post all the part numbers for the parts you used.
Thanks
