Before I started laying out some cardboad box lids underneath, rain water would pool in the roof rack void... and it absolutely will not leak through. My Ty is my weekend cruizer, so it's only covered up Mon-Fri. On Sunday evenings I CC dust it, wipe the truck and wheels down with some Maguires (sp?) spray detailer and cover it up. I only really wash the truck once every five to six weeks. It really keeps well with the cover.
Nice cover. I'm sure it will work out well for you. But I wouldn't have had it embroidered "GMC TYPHOON". I'd rather not attract the attention of enquiring minds who want to know. Just my .02

im not sure about putting gmc typhoon on the cover though... if you ever park it out in the open, wont everyone know whats under it and increase your risk of it getting ripped off?
i dont mean to shit on your new cover, just giving ya somethin to think about... i could just be paranoid... who knows.

I have a Sunbrella cover now, but the truck is in the garage 100% of the time anyway. Rain won't hurt the truck, but the sun will fade everything.
