I may have to pick up one of those, even though the truck will be sitting in the garage all winter

The Noah material is supposed to be pretty good. I opted for the weathershield hd and it works very well (pricey tho). Before I started laying out some cardboad box lids underneath, rain water would pool in the roof rack void... and it absolutely will not leak through. My Ty is my weekend cruizer, so it's only covered up Mon-Fri. On Sunday evenings I CC dust it, wipe the truck and wheels down with some Maguires (sp?) spray detailer and cover it up. I only really wash the truck once every five to six weeks. It really keeps well with the cover.
Nice cover. I'm sure it will work out well for you. But I wouldn't have had it embroidered "GMC TYPHOON". I'd rather not attract the attention of enquiring minds who want to know. Just my .02

hey oliver, you might wanna contact, jwaller or bigtime, for the lowering block or splurge for the belltech springs. lowering the truck is easy just make sure to get an alignment after. remember use the search button, it helps out alot.

thanks, i wanted to be different. i don't care about other minds, cuz if they haven't figured it out by now that it hasn't moved for the past 3months and the fact that this is my second typhoon they are stupid. i think those minds would rather mess my brothers WS6 or my dads 01 sierra and not a blazer.

got the same one. I get it professionally laundered once a year. You'll be surprised how dirty they can get.

I opted for the one without the hokey advertising.

Re: CA Car Cover

i have the same cover for my sy, had it for almost 5 years. awesome quality and a perfect fit! mine came with a Sy owners manual, original floor mats, and an original sy steering wheel, all for $100

im not sure about putting gmc typhoon on the cover though... if you ever park it out in the open, wont everyone know whats under it and increase your risk of it getting ripped off?

i dont mean to shit on your new cover, just giving ya somethin to think about... i could just be paranoid... who knows.

Re: CA Car Cover

Don't leave your cover on in the rain. It'll mess up your paint and cause surface rust to start in places. I left mine on last winter with the truck outside and won't do that again. I have a Sunbrella cover now, but the truck is in the garage 100% of the time anyway. Rain won't hurt the truck, but the sun will fade everything.

Has anyone else had this happen? I'm trying to find a cover for the Sy that will work good while it sits in my carport. Sometimes it does get wet becuase of the wind blowing the rain or the sprinklers, but not a whole lot of water. Is this cover not for me then?

And it's fits around the cladding with no problems? Unlike the other junk out there.

Re: CA Car Cover

well when i got the truck it came with a cover, but the previous owner had it in the garage. so i wasn't sure if it was a outside cover. so i just bought this one as added security. actually i left the one that came with the truck on and put this one over it. now i got two covers on the truck, boy i'm lazy.
