caltracs and lowering blocks

ok I love the way my truck looks with 3" lowering blocks, but I installed some flex a forms with caltracs and the clearance between the ground and the front of the bars is no more than half of an inch...... I could not even get out my damn drive way.
It really pisses me off.

So my question is, should I raise the truck? (even though the bars are still gonna be too low and its gonna take that monster look, of my truck so close to the ground)

Should I just stick with the flex a forms and drop the caltracs?

Or Am I doing something wrong and they should not sit that low.

Or anyone have any suggestions on how to keep them without being that low?

thanks.

do your bars have 1 or 2 holes in the front. if they have 2 holes, use the upper and trim the bracket down. if you have 1 hole then use a 2" block. I've done this setup on 4 trucks and it works.

you must use caltracs with fiberglass springs.

Re: caltracs and lowering blocks

it has two holes but even using the top one and trimming is still gonna be way too low, i think im gonna have to take the lowering blocks out or the caltracs out.

Mine's great with 2" blocks. Only scrapes on large bumps or when the Ty is really loaded down.

Re: caltracs and lowering blocks

yes I did that, it feels really stiff and jumpy, I just can't launch it yet to see what it does cus I upgraded turbo and rebuilt my engine and I am having a hard time finding someone to tune my fast system, here in memphis tn.
ill try to post a pic of how it looks.
It really does make a difference on looks, going front 3" to 2", but I had no choice.
