Cam and head question???

Can some one tell me if the stock cam in our Sy/Ty is custom grind or a mass production cam? I started to check out my cam after it came out of the parts washer and it looks like it's a custom grind cam. It dos NOT look like a production cam that the manufactor is using in other engines, you can see on my cam that it has been cut by hand.

The only number i can find on my cam is stamped around the shaft, nothing in the ends of the cam? The number is:

148.CP?C.BC.8

I can't read the number where the question mark is, but i think it's a C. Dos anyone know what cam this is? Is it a stocker?

My other question is, what kind of heads do i have according to this casting number 10144103

swede, I just pulled my motor as well. My stock cam has stamped right before the dist. drive: 176.CPC.BC.10---I know my cam is stock.

The stock heads are #10144103.

Thanks Anthony, but why are the numbers different? I have a 91 Sy what do you have, maybe they change something with the cam after 91 sense we have different numbers?

Brian Green do you know anything about this topic?
