Took my truck out for a drive today. It had a lot of hesitation and MPH of the truck was going up and down as I held the accelaration in a steady position. I had RPM change the complete fuel system ( 255 fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator and fuel filter). I was told by Mike at RPM that I need a bigger torque converter and I am in the process of purchasing one sometime this week. I have also changed the cap and rotor, the spark plugs, spark plug wires, and had RPM to check all vaccum lines for leaks. I have a question about a cam that was ordered for Comp Cam. Here are the specs on this particular cam. I am wondering if this the wrong set up for my truck. Here is the info I received from Comp Cam. "the cam has 266/266 advertised duration with 210/210 at .050. The lift is 501/501 with a 1.5 rocker and it has a 114 lobe separation with a 4 degree advance ground in. The serial number for the cam is G 2616-05 and the part number is 09-000-8 and grind
number is 3107/3107 HR114 +4." I do have the time set at zero. I can't figure out what else I can do to get rid of the stumble and hesitation on take and the while it is rolling.
