this hose is not attached to anything this is how i purchased it it splices off of the small hose connected to the cruise control module and is right behind the EGR

Fuel pump regulator vacume line? Dosent look like you have one in there yet but you have the EGR on there.

Someone has changed your vacuum line routing.

You should have a vacuum line on your radiator support. Here is another diagram (the top most check valve is going the wrong way though)

there is no vacuum line on the radiator support

i've looked to see if there is another hose thats not connected but cant find one the truck runs fine and no check engine light comes on when i got the truck there was just a screw pushed into the vacuum hose

I think SY#2661 is refuring to a vacume diagram on the radiator support. That hose looks like goes to the back of the upper manifold fitting.

could have gone to

1) egr
2) fuel puressure regulator
3) external boost gauge

Still have the vaccum ball connected? It's usually under the battery tray.

i dont see the FPR in the pic, so perhaps it's missing???? (you would know immediately)

everything is connected to the egr where would the fpr and external boost gauge be ?

Personally, I would redo your all your vacuum lines. They are a very crutical part of your engine fueling and boost control.

i did the vacuum leak check and replaced everyhting that was leaking except for this one and plan on replacing more but still need to know where it connects to i looked again but still found nothing that wasnt connected

external boost gauge would be something a previous owner would have installed, and since that vacuum line looks like it's been plugged, something was removed so i doubt you'll find it.

It looks like it might be the one for the vacuum ball, that would be my guess!

Looking under my hood just now, the fitting that comes off the back of the intake plenum (which is where your vac line originates) splits and goes two ways; one to the FPR, and the other to the MAP sensor. Exactly like the vacuum routing diagram shows.
Someone has obviously plumbed that in there for whatever reason...
