Can't start the Sy on code 59

Gents, I have been trying to get my truck running on code 59 but have had no luck. Here is the deal. On code 58 and a 2bar Map, the truck starts normal, runs and drives. I load the code 59 and swap in the 3bar and it starts but idle is high (2k) and the check engine light is on but won't show a code if put into diag mode, the CEL will just stay on.

Does anyone have a clue on what is going on?

I am using BIN's from this site, TP5, the Burn 2 and moate's chips.

$58 and Code$59 bin are different sizes. Are you offsetting the programs properly for the different sizes?

Thanks for the quick reply Dave, I did offset correctly and I did get this fixed. I had to uninstall the Burn 2 software from Moates, my machine did a windows update and after that is when the problems started. I burned a BIN, then read the chip and it was not burning what I was sending, like not even close, it was corrupt.

Here is my theory on what was happening. The ECM was referencing the 2 bar chip that was in the moates adapter (you have to leave another chip in the G2 adapter) not the chip that was burned (the corrupt chip) and installed.

If I pulled out the burned 3 bar chip, the truck would still start and run like crap. Once I reloaded the software and did a write/read, everything matched up. Installed that newly burned 3 bar chip and boom, it was running great!

I kind of figure it was running off the limp mode of the 2bar chip. Glad you figured it out.
