Well, like I said, once Vinny is done with my new one, I will put my current one up for sale. It is identical to the pictures, except it is a pin on version with six holes already drilled for the dzus fastners.

vinny, are you able to do a bolt on, or only pin on? i love the 2" cowl look.

I'll only do the first several in "bolt-on" since thats what I'll be jigged up for. But I CAN do "pin-on" later.

Vinny, you planning on smoothing and filling the gate (no lower dip and no handle)?

First version will be stock,all carbon.
2nd will be Smoothie.....the donor needs reworked for this.

Torry has the molds to make the carbon fiber tailgates.
Last I heard he does not want to sell it.
He is the guy that was selling them before.

Sweet I've rethought the whole tailgate thing, and I think I want to go with a full piece, not just a pin on. Hopefully I'll be able to get some aluminium brackets and hinges made, and keep the weight down

Well,you know the long metal arms (that collapse into one another)...would be easy to fab.Possibly even turn some side latch posts on the lathe.

I believe its been covered before that he is no longer interested in making those . Wouldnt there be more than 1 or 2 if he was ? I could go for one myself , but Im not holding my breath .

I believe you are correct.
My friend offered to buy the molds from him & he was not interested in selling them & he was not interested in getting anymore made,,,,what a waste of molds just sitting around.
