catalytic converter ?

how much of a difference will a bad cat. converter make our trucks run?
big difference worse? not to bad?
also what would be a good kind to get?
im just trying to narrow down a problem with my sy

If it's clogged,the truck will run way rich and have no power.If it's gutted,the truck will overboost.

it doesnt get out of its own way
it still boosts but only to like around 8-10lbs

Just did it.

I just replaced the stock (bad) cat on my Sy and it made a huge difference. It used to only boost 8-10 psi now it feels like an entirely new truck.
