Center Cap with lock

Greetings,

Awful thing happened. After replacing all the tires on my Sy, I think the mechanic did not lock one of the center caps correctly and it ended going missing after a while.

I made some search on the web site and could not find any for sale. The thing is that once you buy one, you have to buy it with its own key as well. I search the net and found out this place. Did any dealt with this and would it really fit ??

I'm not sure if they sell them anymore. Give them a call. Otherwise the caps generally sell on here for $75 depending on condition. People have lock sets for sale as well.

Sure...thanks. I will give them a call to check if it is really for Syclone.
Just done that and you are right.... they do not have it anymore...but I left my contact so that if they get them, then they would contact me.

I just wonder how I can make the same present key fit the new ones.....if possible at all.

The ones I am talking about are to attach the center caps to the wheel. They will fit inside the hole.

OK this post is for those who are in the same position as I am .. missing one of the center caps. I looked through the Hubs.com and they are out of stock at the moment.

Thanks for the advice and guidenance of all who responded, I managed to find a supplied of center caps called "Wheels Warehouse Inc", (www.the wheelwarehouse.com) and I searched their stock and found one that is exact the one used for Syclone and Typhone for $25. Shipping in US is free but for Qatar it cost another $20.

Previously, I looks around and found stainless steel bolts that would also fit the center cap and also the thread that is in the wheel itself. Its almost the same size as the stock bolt, but it is only Hex (T-45) and here is some photos

Now the only thing that was missing from this center cap was the rubber gasket that is surrounding the edge of the stock center cap but not on the one that was just received. Well, a quick solution is to cut any piece of plastic or compressed paper and insert it in the grove that is in the received or new center cap. I used the plastic cover piece that came with the center cap shipping box. Here is how my proposal looks like...the edges had been exposed to make it clearer for the viewer.

One of the guys on here sells the correct o-ring for the centre caps. Keith455 I think...

Do those people have more centre caps?

Post in the "wanted section" for a matching key set for the 4 locks/bolts.

THanks for posting the follow up. Good price on centercaps even if they are used. They're getting more and more rare and $25 is a good price.
