AWD, 2WD, 4WD....All the same tranny. Even if they are that different alls he needs is the Ty crossmember, it all bolts up.

he can swap the output shaft to a 2wd. It's not unpossible.

Exactly, gasket is like 5 bucks from AAP and all you need is the donor tailshaft, bolts and driveshaft....Transfer case would be nice too lol.
