Driving around yesterday around 40mph when the motor starts to stutter heavily like it lost 2 cyclinders {I'm thinking blown headgasket} then it makes this noise like there a little monkey in the engine playing slots{ching ching clankedy clank}. So i shut it down.

Did a copression check and no.6 turns up dead....I pull the valve cover...>broken valve spring.

Kinda strange considering its the only part that I didn't bring to my engine builder.

when you get it back together, do a compression/leak down on that cylinder to make sure it sealed up. Even the very slightest bent valve will not allow it to seal.

Shoot some shop air in that cylinder if the valve is bent you will know!
If you don’t hear it leaking threw the intake or exhaust install the new spring
and carry on.

That spring was a pain to get in because the spring loader tool wouldn't really fit but......> in the process I shot some air in there to hold the valve up to the head while installing the spring.....and it wouldn't hold...i knew the sucker had a little bend in it at that point. But i put the spring on it anyway...still no compression.

Thats OK i wanted to pull the head off anyway( :bs: ).
