Not to hate but c'mon, VTEC, not VTECH, that's a phone maker. Also they are pretty mild mannered all around. I shat on multiple new Civic Si's in my old Speed6, both stock and mildly modded ones. Stock ones were pretty much a joke, I know people will cry "but the Mazda is turbo and awd waaaa" but you have NO idea how much the thing weighs and how quirky the stock ECU, fuel pump and everything else performance related is in that car. It weighs 3,600lbs bone f'n dry not even a full tank of gas, hefty car, hell it weighs as much as a full framed Syclone!
Anyways, stock ones weren't a race and the closest one I had was against an 07 4 door, I/H/E on a 75 shot with supposed "low bottle pressure" when he sprayed the second race. We went from a dig when he wasn't spraying and it was pathetic. Yeah I got him off the line which was suspected but I ramped it all the way up to 115 and he wasn't gaining on me in the slightest, I believe I was still pulling him. Mind you I was rolling 3 deep too, smashing the 4,000lb barrier into the ground. Second race we went from a 20 roll, I started in 1st gear brake boosting and left him hard. He stayed about 2 cars behind me after that and I'm not sure if he was pulling me or not I was concentrated on the road, even so at 130 I was still ahead of him by probably the same length.
Kinda do wish I had more faster (not even fast, my car was 13.9 stock, a tad bit faster with the intake/exhaust mods I had) Honda's race me because that Si was the only decent race and I actually blew up a EG Hatch that tried to race me, he grenaded his motor on the highway in an impromtu race, I kind of felt bad!
