CODE 45

OK guys, I've been dealing with a code 45 problem which is the O2 sensor and or the purge canister. Upon starting the engine when cold, the truck runs like crap. Does not respond to throttle input without wanting to cut out. It does this until the check engine light comes on(approx. 2 minutes) and then smooths out. So, I went and replaced the O2 sensor and still get the same code. And yes I disconnected the battery for about 5 minutes to clear codes stored in ECM. Still running the same as it was before the O2 swap. Im stumped here. Any similar experiences with this one? What next??

Well the purge canister system is controlled by vacuum, have you checked so you don't have a vacuum leak at the canister or lines? I would disconnect the vauum line that goes to purge canister and plug it, see if it fixes the problem then you have a purge canister that are leaking vacuum.
