code 59 Tuning Help!?

I just got my Typhoon back together a few weeks ago and am working on building a sufficient tune starting with Dig's #60 bin. I have read the power point slides a few times but still have a lot to learn. If anyone has some pointers I will attach my two log files which consist of idling in the garage while reving it to roughly 1750rpm and it starts to get a lot of knock retard. I have yet to take it for a drive since it's getting a lot of knock. I know my fuel tables are looking rough and are very crude yet. What I have done to the motor is 412 comp cam, #60 injectors, 3 in downpipe and exhaust, vortec heads, plx wideband, roughly 10 deg of timing, stock turbo, stock bottom end, afpr set at 40psi currently running on 91 octane non oxygenated fuel,. [file] I'm guessing it has something to do with the fuel and timing table but honestly am not sure. Any advice or input would be greatly appreciated. I would love to post mile .csl file as an attachment but I'm not allowed to post attachments. If you have any suggestions or need that .csl file PM me and I will e-mail it to you.

Re: code 59 Tuning Help!?

I'm just back in town from doing our final move from Wyoming to Oregon.... but, PM me with your email address and I've got a couple of 60lb Bins that will probably work pretty well for you. They're not up on the '59 site yet but should be shortly.

I thought timing should be set at 0 degree's? What does your wideband O2 sensor read at idle? how many torque lbs did you set your knock sensor with? recheck your firing order and plug wires and plugs.

Wideband reads 10.4 which is way rich. firing order and plug wires are fine. Not sure about torque specs for the knock sensor what is recommend? About the timing what should be total advance at idle? If i set the timing to 0 the truck doesn't like to start.

Re: code 59 Tuning Help!?

Well I have tried the bins from Wyosyclone and still have the same issue which is knock retard between 1700 and 1800rpm. I'm wondering if I have a bad pcm because sometimes it reads 1-2psi of boost not even running. Than when I start it it will read .017psi than jump from anywhere to 2psi not even touching the gas. If anyone else has any suggestions please let me know.

Here are the bins and datalogs from today.

Timing should be set at 0 with the tan wire disconnected. At idle with the wire conected the timing should be anywhere from 25-35 degrees.

Torque spec for the knock sensor is 14lbs if I remember correctly.

Re: code 59 Tuning Help!?

with that many DTCs setting in such a short time double check your ground wires on the engine. you may have left one or two off.

What he said. Check your ECM grounds and (if possible) try another ECM. A local member might lend you one, or if you can make a friend a parts store he might order a 7749 ECM for you, let you try it, and return it if it's not the issue.

Tip: Use a hairdryer or heat gun on the parts store ECM label/stickers and they'll lift off without tearing. If they don't go back down smoothly (in case of return), use a little glue or spray adhesive.
