coil over suspension question

this has probably been brought up before but... i'm thinking about getting a coil-over front end but i don't know much about it.

can you still have AWD or is it a two wheel drive conversion or what any cutting you that sort of stuff.

Anyone with the coilover let me me know how it works and all that.

You keep the AWD with coil overs (unless you want to go 2wd). Minor trimming of some some brackets but no all out cutting.

where you getting them from?

I have just been looking at blazinlow.com for blazers and jimmys etc as well as S10s. Will their S10 stuff fit our trucks?

And what is a reverse 4 link?

Their stuff, almost exclusively, is for 2wd trucks. I would suggest either Race Proven Motor's or JS Manufacturing's coil over kits. I have RPM on my truck, my brother has JS, both are great kits.

A 4-link is for the rear end. It locates the rear axle using 4 forward facing control links and 2 shocks. Sometimes, all 4 arms are parallel, 2 above and 2 below the axle. Other times there are 2 below and the top two come inward in a triangular shape. If it has a panhard bar (side to side location) it becomes a 5 link. There is also 3-link (Ivanko on board has a custom 3 link).
The only difference in a reverse 4 link is that the arms face rearward.
