cold air kit

i was working on making a custom air intake for my K@n airfilter today. after a few hours of having no luck on making anything i liked i looked online. i found one you can even use for ram air but not shure if i can get enough flow with it. what does everyone this of this set up?

if you have an itercooler is there even a point of having a cold air kit?

Yep,
less work for the intercooler. The intercooler can only cool X amount.
Why not take advantage of the cool air outside the engine compartment?
