Stock '93 Typhoon. Earlier I noticed my speedometer needle jumping to 50 when cranking the engine. Only did that occasionally.
Today after cold start the tachometer jumped from 1200 rpm (cold idle) to 3000, then to 0 (or vice versa, cant remember) and back to 1200. All this within one second. Then again after 3 seconds, and again and again. Of course stopped doing it just when I got to video recording it.
So within 1 second: 1200 => 3000 => 0 => 1200
This may have something to do with misfiring and other runnability problems: http://www.syty.net/forums/showthread.php?t=104439 Or it may not.
