Critique my grocery list

...and here you thought I was considering between the 24 oz. porterhouse or the salmon filet ;)

Rebuilt motor ~ 15k ago. Newly rebuilt tranny. Stock turbo. I have done all of the maintenence mods (i.e. walbro pump, guages, tranny coolent system, plugs, wires, caps, etc.) Stock ride height, brakes and wheels. Here is what I am considering, please let me know what fits and what doesn't or what should be included. I'm planning on keeping the stock turbo for the time being.

A2A Intercooler kit courtesy of RPM, which includes:
High flowing spearco intercooler core
- .5psi pressure drop & excellent efficiency
- Liteweight Alum. pipe w/ beadrolled edges
- Blue or Black heavy duty silicone connectors
- T bolt connecting clamps

Turbonetics variable boost controller
Tial 38mm wastegate
50# injectors
UR5 NGK racing plugs
Turbonetics blow-off valve

Considering a throttle body as well.

Thanks all

You'll need a 50# chip for those injectors.

The BOV is somewhat more of a novelty item IMHO for a stock turbo, but I like the HKS Super Sequencial and its one of the "louder" ones to buy if your looking for the sound factor.

I have the RPM alum. A2A and like it... I had Mike ceramachrome mine as well. Of course, you know you have to reclock the turbo housing. Id heavily recommend looking into gettign a support made to keep the pipe that connects into the TB connected to the TB. Under boost, its very easy to blow it clean off. For mine, I took off the TB and lightly sanded the edge and laid down a nice clean bead of JB weld. This way, when you slide on the silicon hose and clamp it, theres something for the silicon to grab and not pop off. Its worked well for me in excess of 20+psi. The reason why I used JB is because it can be easily removed in any case I upgrade and need it as a spare.

Id recommend finding a good used laptop (ebay) and get datamaster. Its pointless to do any sort of real tuning without it. You may get lucky and guess and get the tuning really good... but why guess?

Thanks for the advice....I did forget to mention that I'm planning on a chip as well, but trying to find one cheaper than what I've been offered. I figured the BOV was a novelty and will probably hold off. Should I hold off on the throttle body as well until a bigger turbo is upgraded? What about an alky injection system?

i would hold off on the throttle body. alky would be good if you plan on running higher boost on the stock turbo with pump gas. you lose alot of top end with the stock turbo though. you should think about getting a rpm turbo, heck you might get some sort of discount if you buy alot of stuff thru mike at RPM. good luck with the ty.
