Cruise control, can i remove it ??

hey guys just finished my header install, which requires re location of the cruise control. i dont use use it, and was wondering if i can remove it? would i just unplug the wiring clip and plu up the vacuum line/ would this disturb anything else??

I did it. No probs so far. I even removed the vacum ball, and the whole electrical harness going through the firewall to the cruise control servo.

When you say "I even removed the vacum ball" is that the ball that sits under the battery? if so that SOB is out of there, I thought that was for the a/c system.

dont need the vac ball.. it assists the doors in opening in the ac system, but i have not noticed any real ill effects to tell you the truth

not having the vacuum ball will cause a lack of control in the direction of your vents and AC. FOr example you might select it to blow the vent on your face, but it might blow at your feet. Other then that, no ill side effects b/c your cruise is now gone.
