cruise control install on 2.2 engine

I wondered if anyone knew if it was possible to install cruise control on my 2003, 2.2 that didn't come with it installed from the factory.

A friend said on the 4.3 it's easy but the wiring harness is different on the 2.2 depending if it came with it or not..

Anything is possible. Just depends, are you trying to use 4.3 parts or are you using an aftermarket kit?

I want to use factory parts, I also have a 2000 Sonoma ZQ8- 2.2 with cruise but the 2003 S10 doesn't have it.

So I'd like to know how to get the factory cruise installed on my 2003 S10 - 2.2

I'm not registered on any other s10 sites and thought someone might be able to help- thanks.

Why not just hit an auto wrecker and get what you need? As mentioned above, you might find what you're looking for on the s-series forum as opposed to here. You won't find too many of us SyTy guys with 2.2L's. :lol:
