Prior to xmas I had the workshop next to my works to put in my 2800 stall tc, it seemed to get that bigger turbo spooling up well but I must admit I didn't really like the driving style like this with the higher revs pulling away compared with the standard turbo and tc. BUT . . . . . I didn't need to put up with that too long as after about 2 weeks and about 200 miles I lost all frigging drive from the gearbox. Gearbox was perfect before this swap but now as soon as you drive half a mile now it loses all drive in all gears. . . totally pissed off! Dropped the sump pan off to find oil had a lot of aluminium dust in the filter. The Ty is now at a gearbox centre to find out what the hell is wrong with the thing.
