Curious about the value of my Syclone

I have a day every once in a while in which I think about selling the Syclone. Usually I end up smacking myself but I'd like to know what the market is for mine.

42K orig. miles

trans rebuilt 2K miles ago

New since July 2003:

10-1 Chip from Todd A
Magnecore 10mm spark plug wires
New plugs (AC)
New Cap and Rotor
New PCV valves
New K&N cone airfilter in place of airbox
Walbro 255 fuel pump
New Adj. Fuel Press. reg
New turbo to IC pipe
New MSD coil
New torsion mounts
New Optima battery
New fuel filter
New HD rear (pumpkin) cover
Just lowered in rear 1 5/8" with blocks, front lowered via torsion bars
New GS (ZR1) rims (black with polished lip) 17" x9.5" F, 11 x 17" rear
New BFG Drag radials all around
Amsoil 0W-30 used
New OEM decals (not yet installed)

Truck runs real strong, flawless carfax with receipts. In storage since 1994.

HERES THE KICKER: the truck needs paint. The body is straight however the lady I bought it from stored it outside for nearly 3 years (won from her husband in a divorce). Interior is nice having not lost any color (seats, dash, etc.). With a paint job, this would be a beautiful truck. Like I said, it runs real strong. Note, recent idling issue has been squared away.

I'd considering a Z06 and can't have both (so says my wife)!

It's not necessarily for sale however I am feeling out the market if I do decide to sell (money talks of course).

Thanks

Well considering that you drilled out the center caps Ill give you 5$ for your truck, but seriously Im thinking about 13-4k tops

Can't a guy make a mistake?????

Also forgot to mention, I have brand new fog lights and the original wheels (wheels need a little TLC), minus 3 center caps, too.

turbo game burt reynolds
 we'll assume vince this doesnt have the v-8 option made popular in the late 2003 model year?

not stock
I've seen and ridden in this truck and it is exactly as described. Runs really strong for a stock turbo truck imho.

Good luck sellin if you decide to go that route. Or you could just pretend to sell it and give it to me to store for you. I'll even make sure it stays in good shape by exercising her daily. :)

Mike,

Thanks for the post, you should feel the truck now that I have the idling issue squared away and the IC pump is running as it should. It runs a lot stronger than my old one. I think if I could get $10.5-11K then I would let it go but I'm sure I'd kick myself for doing it like I did when I sold my old one. I'm in no rush and may just keep it for a long time to come. Who knows???????

The Z06 would be sweet though! The vette shop here just put a supercharger in an 03......holy shit!!!!!

What can I say, I'm a vette guy. I love the Sy but would really like the reliability of the Z06. Each his own. Who know's maybe I'll keep it and buy the Z06 anyways!!!!!
