Custom 18* N/A Headers

We have to redo my headers due to the previous set coming into contact with the cage mount. When the first set of done there was never any intention of a cage so this problem wasn't foreseen. Anyway, we started them, didn't like what we saw so restarted them again. We are using 1 5/8" stepped out to 1 3/4".

So far, so good if you ask me. These won't be done for about 2 weeks though, don't have much time.

how many ten thousanths of an inch is between the steering shaft and drivers header ? looks real close when you spin the steering shaft .

looks good other than that.

looks good other than that.

I haven't seen it since the pipes were put on but by rough fightment by hand it is alot more than it looks in the pic. Its close but plenty of room. I will have to double check.

I think I see what you are talking about, will have to look. I did have a little leak at the trans pans gasket and while looking at that I looked everywhere else and didn't see anything, but will look again, I won't be back out by the truck for 2 weeks or so though

Have you thought of wrapping the middle header around the steering shaft like the V8 S10 guys do? That looks CLOSE!

what a bunch of crap! stock manifolds look better than those things, and you can bolt a turbo to them!
