Custom chrome moly front suspension nearly complete!

I should have pictures up in a few days.

We might be able to duplicate the suspension if we have enough positive response.

Advantages:

Increased durablity
Less Deflection
Increased clearance
Safer

I'll post details as soon as they become available.

As you know I've had 3 PEP front tubular suspension failures related to some poor design issues.

The new suspension eliminates all of the previous issues.

Re: Custom chrome moly front suspension nearly complete!

I'd love to see some pics....I've had my PEP stuff sitting for a long time since reading about all the problems...thinking of making metal sculptures or lightweight bike stand with 'em.

I'm interested in a "duplicate" set...but....I'd like to know if I can keep the stock ride height since I haul my RMZ 250 up into the hills for MOTO-trailing and need to keep some clearance down below.

Hmmm...Maybe I can donate the PEP stuff for the duplicate set?

Thanks for all the info.!

You should have greater ride height adjustment than the stock setup.

Very nice
The trans. bracket is Chromo. too? Possible duplicates? :D

Say If I had your NEW front U/L control arms on my truck and go on dirt roads I'm thinking the joints may need some covers for protection.
Maybe Energy Suspension tie rod boots?

Got more pics? Thanks....

I'm not as concerned with rubbing on speed bumps any longer for sure.

Weighs almost nothing.

I'll have some pics from the fab guy as well soon. The upper ball joint is a uniball design and they are used on off road racing vehicles. The guy who built my suspension specializes in building off road race Hummers!

Re: Custom chrome moly front suspension nearly complete!

Since these are essentially "prototypes" the fabricator wants me to run them hard for some of the autocross season and then see if any changes need to be made. If he's happy with the results, he'll remove them and design a "fixture" so we can duplicate them for fellow SyTy memebers.
