dash speakers

what good quality replacement dash speakers are you guys using? i bought a set of pioneer 4x6 and they dont fit. by the way its for a 93 ty

thats wierd cause i have pioneer 4x6s in mine, they fit w/ no problem

which model? the magnet on mine on the drivers side hits the back corner or what looks to be the gauge cluster

I had the same problem installing Eclipse 4 x 6 's in the 1992 Typhoon and Polk 4 x 6 's in 1993 Typhoon. You have to move the speaker around and bend the speaker cover some to get the magnet to drop down low enough to put the screw's back in. It took a little time, but they eventually fit just fine.

ive tried alot of manuvering and getting no where.. just frustrated I thought they would have been stock replacements...

Anyone have Kenwood (KFC-4675)
4x6's in their dash? http://www.crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/S-ppVBXEhEs60/ProdView.asp?s=0&c=10&g=400&I=113KFC4675&o=m&a=1 I know there are better speakers out there, but the main reason I bought them is that Crutchfield says they'll fit without any modifications to the truck. I just haven't had time to install them...

i have the Pioneer ts-a4615, they are 2 way 80w. i didnt install them myself but the guy who did didnt metion any problem.

i have cerwin vega 4x6 component plates....the driverside fit great passenger took a little push but it fits alright...and they sound good too.

I have MB Quarts in the ty and they fit with a little finessing.

I have the Infinity plates and they fir with no problem.
