Datamaster no longer supports GM vehicles

I searched and didn't see anything so figured I would let everyone know here as well. I went to try and download a trial copy for my corvette and saw this.

Looks like sometime in July they removed it from their site and no longer support GM vehicles.

I still have a version if you need it. But it is 32 bit. So it dosen't work on a 64bit OS

I've tried to link DM to 4 different ZR-1 Corvettes, and have never been successful. Even using the same computer that reliably links to SyTy and my L35's. So if you were looking for DM for your ZR-1, it may not have worked anyway. The best tool for data acquisition for a 90-up Corvette is a Tech-1. Especially for a ZR-1, as you can command output functions with a Tech-1, which you can't with DM.

Re: Datamaster no longer supports GM vehicles

This is a real bummer. I tried to download DM to my newer lap top today only to see it is gone. Found this post. Not sure what I'm going to do now, I HATE logging with Tuner Pro. Tuning is nice with DM. At one point I got a crack from someone but never did use it. Would be nice if TTS would just sell it to someone or somehow make it a free download if they don't care about it. I am going to call them this week and see if there is any way to get it.

Re: Datamaster no longer supports GM vehicles

I still have DM running on the old laptop in the Sy. I'll look into what I have license wise. Did they just walk away from DM? Are our licenses good? can they be reused? I've been wondering. I'll experiment a little.

I bought a whole setup from Aaron, it has worked very well. I just have to hope nothing ever happens to the laptop that it is installed on.

I'd have to look but have a copy on mine that I'll never need again after switching to a Holley

I agree this is no Holley alternative. But for People on a budget and Learning to Tune etc this system is nice. Also the Datamaster I supplied above is good for 20 Recordings. You could always uninstall and re-install for a additional 20 pulls :). Anyways DM is still here if anyone needs help let me know. You do need to Set the installer to run in windows xp SP2 mode for installation and only works with 32 bit OS systems. If your not sure simply right click on my computer in windows and it will tell you if your OS is 32 or 64 bit.

yup, just tried to install DM on my laptop with Win10 64bit, and no dice.

Anyone figure out how to run Windows programs on Android yet? ...get an obd2 to micro USB cable, and run DM from the phone!!! Get on it!

Till then, I'll have to buy a battery for my 10 year old xp laptop:oops:
