Tony's been good to Nolan and I. Shipped the aluminum rads the day we ordered them. Told me my air to air would follow a a few weeks later and so far, touch wood, everything is on schedule.
You're lucky you weren't in on the radiator GP or the CCHE GP or the AFPR GP.On 2002-01-24 13:18, ALBERTAN wrote:

who'd that happen to?
It could be that the CAS is a 2 pass design. On 2002-01-24 16:33, the Sandman wrote:
I haven't purchased anything from CAS so I won't comment on the delivery time issue.
It seems strange to me that so many of the people who bought the CAS CCHE are unhappy with it. I have the Griffin CCHE and it made a big difference, and as far as I know the other Griffin users are also happy with theirs. Is there a design difference between the two (flow pattern, channel size, etc.)? There must be a big pressure drop across the CAS unit or something.
The water/air on my Syclone works so well with the Griffin CCHE/ATR AUX CCHE that I actually downgaded the IC from ATR to stock without any visible performance loss - and regained access to the passenger side of the engine compartment.
Bottom line, if the MAT's don't visibly improve with an upgraded CCHE there must be a manufacturing or design flaw in the unit (IMHO of course).

But... I would still be interested in what flow #'s you get from his air-air setup.
